My favorite--Carbon Fiber Look vinyl- grippy
but not rashy--and light weight too! Available in white, black,
red, and silver! Even though the top is textured, you should use
surfboard wax and put a little in the belly area and where you
grip the board with your hands.
If you live in a hot place like Florida--you should get the
white or maybe the silver. For hot places, black and maybe red
will be too dark and will absorb the heat too much. Ever sat on
a black car seat after it has been sitting in the Florida sun
for a couple hours? If you live in colder areas--dark colors are
ok--just don't let your board bake in the car or in the trunk of
your car--this goes for any brand bodyboard you buy!!!! Always
insulate your board (any brand) with a light colored board bag
or fluffy towel.
