12-09 This
board was designed and plotted out using my special Kenu
proprietary computer software. I just made this board for my son
Shaun who weighs about 85 lbs. It is 51" tall and 22 inches
wide. He paddles it like a surfboard with no swimfins---and
rides it like a bodyboard. It is 2 5/8" thick and floats him
well--he has given up on his small Mike Stewart foam top board
with swimfins, and now prefers this new board for maximum fun at
full point Sandy Beach waves. Super easy to catch waves and he
can do spinners real easy. It was designed with a surfboard like
bottom curve-that of course is super strong. On the
bottom, the tail is beveled up so it won't catch water when he
does spinners and surfs backwards--which is my specialty on my
own big board. When he gets better, he'll jump to his feet near
the end of his ride and surf it like his old man.
This board
has special 1/2" (instead of standard 1/4") super soft foam
under the white "carbon fiber look" vinyl skin to make the top
of the board super soft and conforming to your body. |
